How easy is it to get to?
From Interstate 90: Exit 57 and follow Rt 44 West 18 miles to the first Stop Sign, make a right turn and you are there!
From Rapid City Airport: Exit the airport road going west (you are on Rt 44) and drive 29 miles!
Both Rts 44 and 385 are SD State Highways maintained by the State 24-7.

Do I need a Realtor?
At this time all sales are being handled by the Owner and his Attorney.

Is there a contractor associated with the subdivision?
Not at this time

Are there building restrictions?
There are land covenants which cover many aspects of subdivision operation.
Pennington County has a permitting process for construction and septic systems.
Pactola Heights is platted as a Planned Unit Development.

What if there is an emergency?
The subdivision is served by the Johnson Siding Fire Protection District whose main station is 5 miles away.
Law enforcement services are provided by the Pennington County Sheriff.

Where will my children go to school?
Pactola Heights is part of the Hill City School District, K-12. Bus service is available at Chaparral Dr & Highway 385. Two State run colleges are nearby. Black Hills School of Mines and Technology is located in Rapid City .Black Hills State University is located in Spearfish. Western Dakota Tech is located in Rapid City providing intermediate and vocational classes.
